1. Who we are
Waplify is a WhatsApp automation platform for small and medium-sized businesses in Singapore and Malaysia. We are committed to protecting the personal data we collect and process in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
2. Data we collect
- Account data: your name, email address, and organisation name when you sign up.
- WhatsApp contact data: phone numbers and message content from your customers that flow through the Waplify platform on your behalf.
- Usage data: page views, feature interactions, and error logs to improve the product.
- Billing data: handled directly by our payment provider; we do not store card numbers.
3. How we use your data
- To provide and operate the Waplify service.
- To send transactional emails (account setup, password reset, billing receipts).
- To monitor platform health and fix bugs.
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
- We do not use your customers' WhatsApp data to train AI models.
4. Data storage & security
Your data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS ap-southeast-1 — Singapore region). We use row-level security to ensure each organisation can only access its own data. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
5. Your rights (PDPA)
Under the PDPA, you have the right to:
- Access personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Withdraw consent and request deletion of your data.

6. Cookies
We use essential session cookies for authentication only. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify active users by email of any material changes.
